What services does DD offer?
Dad Depot has three main categories of services:

Home improvement + renovation projects

Painting +interior upgrades

Landscaping and outdoor projects

What type of work does DD specialize in?

We specialize in interior remodeling and home improvement upgrades. We have a broad knowledge base, and are constantly learning to better serve our clients. Our services are always improving and evolving.

Can DD complete specialty trade services like HVAC, electrical, roofing, plumbing, etc?
No, we do not currently offer these types of services. Our goal in the future is to hire traded individuals but currently we have to recommend or sub contract specialty services out.
Does DD have insurance?
We have liability insurance, workman’s comp insurance, are licensed, and we have an additional surety bond!
What is the current structure of DD?
We are a collaborative team utilizing everyone’s skill set! DD’s owner Aaron is in the field completing all quotes, managing projects, and overseeing operations. We have a team that helps Aaron execute all projects. We have a professional painter on staff and she does a lot of solo paint jobs. Jasmine runs all of the HR, administration, marketing, and communications.

Project Planning

How do I schedule a quote and consultation?
Please fill out our Quote Request form on our website. Once we receive your submission we will contact you and schedule a consultation.
What do I need to do or have before my appointment?
Please have all project materials purchased and on site prior to our arrival. Consider things like; prepping the space, moving fragile items, making room for us to work, and having the dogs or large pets put away.
Does DD purchase my project materials or do I?

It is the client’s responsibility to provide the materials for their project, but we are flexible as to how that happens!

If you want to shop for the project yourself we will create a material list for you to purchase.

If you want us to shop for the project, you will need to supply us with the financial means to do so, on your behalf.

When we go shopping on our client’s behalf we do not personally pay for any materials out of our pocket. If we are mid project and have to go purchase something; we will include the material cost in the final invoice.

Does DD haul away the debris and trash?
Trash and debris associated with each project may vary and a range of disposal methods are available. If we to haul away the trash, an additional fee is charged. Alternatively, we can create a pile for you to burn, place debris in your trash can, bag it up for you to set by the road, or provide other options to ensure trash is removed from the work site and your space is clean upon completion.
Do I need to rent a dumpster?
If your project requires a dumpster, we will tell you and give you recommendations on cost effective rentals.

Payment & Guarantee

What forms of payment does DD accept?

Cash and check is preferred, but we have PayPal and CashApp too! Please make all checks out to “Dad Depot LLC”. If you prefer to pay with card we can invoice through Lake City (3.5% processing fee is charged to Client)

Is there a deposit to schedule my project?

For small handyman jobs we do not require a deposit.

For anything larger than a handyman job we require 35% of the projected labor cost upfront to schedule and begin working on the project. The remaining balance will be due the same day we finish the project.

Does DD guarantee their work?
We will guarantee our work for up to six months past the completion date! If there is an issue within the six-month guarantee period, we will gladly come back out to right any wrong done by us! No problem at all! If we determine that the issue or damage was due to an occupant, the work does not qualify for our guarantee, and will turn into a regular service appointment.
How does DD handle any disputes or dissatisfaction?
Our goal is that with thorough communication, consistent check ins, and involving our home owners in the projects that we never run into this situation. But in the rarest case this happens we vow to be as humble, open, honest, and transparent as we can be to find a mutual happy resolution.
